2024 Fall Season Registration Begins May 13!

Games are in September and October

Children ages 9* and older  have one practice a week on
Wed., Thu., or Fri. with games on Saturdays and some Sundays
Practices start the last week of August
Games are Saturdays, (with some Sundays) starting Sept. 7

Children 9* and older are required to attend a skills evaluation to better help the league create balanced teams

Evaluations will be on  June 2, 17, and 18 at Stoney Brook Fields
Your child need only attend one evaluation and lasts about 20 min

The Divisions for children 9* and older will be determined based on participation levels of players, coaches, and referees, with ages grouped together by only 1 or 2 years apart. 

Children ages 5-6* meet on Mondays for an hour for 
a combined practice and  game
Practice/games are Mondays, Sept. 9 - Nov. 4, no game Oct. 14

Children ages 7-8* meet on Tuesdays for an hour for a 
combined practice and  game
Practice/games are Tuesdays, Sept. 10 - Oct. 29

Westford’s flag football program is an official NFL Flag Football organization. Founded in 2004 the league serves the local communities with the strong support of the Westford Recreation Department.  The continuing mission of the league is to offer local youths a fun alternative to contact football and operates with the philosophy that “everyone plays” and is given an equal chance to participate. 

The league provides participants with a safe and fun team sport in which each feels welcomed. NFL’s flag football rules and our own policies serve to promote player growth and equal participation.

With a primary goal of fun while teaching flag football skills and good sportsmanship, the league encourages its coaches and parents to consider winning as secondary goals.
