Westford Flag Football Volunteer Roles ! !

Coach - Lead the team of Flag Football players with emphasis on fun and team work. Coaches help players develop important skills during weekly practices and games. Coaches are also expected to attend coach meetings and be the adult "Field Official" for 2 or more games between other teams.

Assistant Coach – Assist the coach in all the duties and cover for the head coach when not available. Assistant coaches are also expected to attend coach meetings and be the adult "Field Official" for 2 or more games between other teams.

Teen Referee (12+) - Referee the Flag Football games for all divisions. This will be done under the guidance of an adult ‘Field Official' during the game. You will be required to attend training and meetings to insure consistent refereeing at the games. Teen Referees are compensated for their time and it is our understanding that this activity is also eligible toward Community Service Hours required for graduation at Westford Academy.  Current and former WFF players make great referees!

Special Events Volunteer – Help organize and manage special league events and refreshments on such as during our Flag Bowl day.

Referee Coordinator – This position is needed to coordinate referee coverage for the games, referee training, referee compensation, and possibly recruiting.
